I have always wanted to ride a motorcycle and Bill says he can teach me, but when it comes to gears I really don’t think I can grasp it so guess what I’m concentrating on now?A scooter and I wouldn’t have to take the motorcycle course unless I want to ride without a helmet nor would I have to have a motorcycle license so long as it’s 50 cc’s or under.
I can ride with my license, but if I wanted something higher I could get a motorcycle permit, but I think 50 cc’s would be plenty for me. We sold the Pontiac to my brother so if I want to go any where during the day I either have to walk or keep the Jeep and with the scooter it would be no problem and the gas mileage for a scooter is between 80-100 miles per gallon.
The following information is from PA Motorcycle Safety Program and I was reading all about the Basic Rider Course the part that was of interest to me concerning scooters:
Can I take the BRC on a scooter?
Yes, provided that the scooter is legally inspected and registered. You must also bring proof of insurance along with your registration card. Please let us know in advance that you will be taking the course on a scooter.
The Motorcycle Safety Program does not provide scooters for the course. Scooters and small motorcycles are both single-track vehicles and have comparable weights. With a few adjustments, scooter riders can be easily incorporated into a regular BRC class.
For more information on scooters, please click on the link: http://www.dot3.state.pa.us/registration/scooters.shtml.
It would probably benefit me to take the course then I could get a higher CC and ride on the freeway. Oh, well I have time to think about all that, but we have been looking for a used scooter. I haven’t got it all figured out yet, but I’m getting excited and it will definitely be easier for me to handle and I wont have to worry about gears just give it gas and go.
Well, I didn’t clean out the attic, nor did I get much dropping done. The weekend was great and we managed to ride both days even though it rained. I hope all you Mother’s had a great day and were appreciated for all that you do. My son always manages to forget to call, but Bill always makes up for it.
We watched the 2 Grandgirls tonight while Bills’ son took his wife out for dinner and they are so comical and very entertaining as all children are. It’s amazing how smart children are these days and how fast they learn and pick up on things. We’re looking forward to adding 2 more in August.
I really need to start wearing my glasses more so I know what’s going on. This pass week my digital camera stopped working and I thought the battery light was flashing so I recharged my batteries and the camera still didn’t work. I bought new batteries and charged them and the thing kept flashing and still wouldn’t work.
So I bought a new charger from Radio Shack and better batteries and this one charges in 2 hours and they were hot when I took them out so I knew they had a good charge, this charger keeps them from shorting out and over charging so I put them in and the darn thing still flashed and wouldn’t let me take a picture.
I decided to put my glasses on finally to see if I could figure out my problem and then that’s when I saw the message that there was no memory left or room for more photos. Now how silly does that make me. I promptly deleted all the photos and it works great now. Now I’m stuck with a new charger plus 2 packs of new rechargeable batteries plus a ton of older ones I had and they all work.
I have three different blogs and I feel like I put on a different personality with each one. I’m beginning to think that I’m mentally challenged, no wonder my headaches are getting more frequent. I don’t know who I am from one day to the next or even in the same day.
I try to update at least every other day and sometimes I might go a week straight and take the weekend off. I know people get bored when they go to a blog and see the same thing over and over especially if they are dropping cards for Entrecard.
Speaking of Entrecard, I really like the program and have picked up a lot of different tips and ideas, but I still haven’t figured out what works best for me. Lately I have just been dropping and racking up credits, but last night I went on an advertising spree. I got a little carried away for all 3 blogs.
Everyone worries about traffic for their blog for various reasons and I’m sure we all try everything that comes along or at least I know I have. I know I have left more comments in the past 2 months then any other time since being online for 10 years. When I first started I had a personal website that I threw up for the people I knew in a chatroom.
I really didn’t care about traffic back then. It was only when I decided to try and make a couple dollars online that traffic became an issue for me. I tried many programs like traffic exchanges, writing and submitting articles and on and on. The last year or so it’s been social sites and that sort of thing.
We would all like to have regular readers whether we have something to say or not and I do appreciate those that leave a comment and I know all of you appreciate that too. It’s like getting an unexpected present unless I look at all the spam that Akismet catches then it feels like a curse.
I hope everyone has a relaxing great weekend. It’s rainy and cold here and tomorrow doesn’t look much better according to the weather channel so I guess riding will be out of the question, but I do need to rearrange the attic so I guess that will be tomorrows project.

I posted about the Renuzit TriScents “Transform Your Home with Tanya Memme” Promotion a couple weeks ago and now they have picked the top ten semi-finalists so I went over to register and vote. You can vote once a day up until June 7th. I thought the video above was adorable, but that isn’t where I put my vote today. I felt really bad for several of the semi-finalist and it’s too bad they can’t all win. Do one of these families a favor and go view the semi-finalist gallery and pick your favorite.
Unfortunately I didn’t know any of the semi-finalist, it would be nice to help someone I know win the 20,000 home makeover. I chose the Hiatt family from the semi-finalist gallery shown below because her husband served in Iraq and they touched my heart with all they need to get done. I think everyone should vote and help someone in need. Of course for their favorite not mine. I will probably split up my votes between a couple different ones.

It only takes a minute to register and the videos aren’t long so it didn’t take long to view the ones they had, like I said several of the families I felt really bad for so I’ll split my votes. You will really enjoy the video of the little girl, she did a really good job.
