Please Say A Little Prayer For My Son / Thank-you

I would like to thank both Carole and Sassy Mama Bear for their good wishes and prayers. I will be leaving for Kentucky by myself tomorrow to be with my Son they did a scan of his lungs and saw that he has several masses on his lung, his shoulder in the bone and spine and they are doing the biopsy tomorrow at 12:30 the results will be back within 2 days and I want to be with him when the results come back.

They are hoping it is not malignant and is the treatable kind and I want to be with him for either the greatest news I will ever hear or the worse so if anyone can spare a small prayer for courage for my Son and family it would be most appreciated. I have no clue when I’ll be back, but thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear this news - waiting for results is the scariest, most gut-wrenching thing ever. I will absolutely keep your son in my prayers, and you as well. You are a really good mom to rush down to be with him! My thoughts and prayers are with you, and Bill too - hope he’s ok at home by himself with that flare up of the diverticulitis he’s been having. Update us when you can…

I know a blogger who had lung surgery back in March ‘06 for masses… they removed two lobes and he’s fine.

I know what you feel, my baby too have a hole in her heart when she was born and now hoping the hole to be close while shes getting older. I am one of those people who will hope and pray for your son.

I keep checking back wondering how things are going. I hope and pray your son is just fine and the biopsies showed nothing of concern, and I hope the reason you’re still not posting is just because you’re spending time enjoying your new grandbaby. Miss you! :-)
