Thanks For All Your Prayers

Posted by: jude   in Home and Family

I just got back from Kentucky and I would like to thank everyone for their prayers. 2 weeks went by in a blur and I didn’t even think about my blogs nor did I have access to a computer. Everything was a total mess down there and very stressful, I will post about the horrible experience we had at the hospital later this week, but the results show that he has stage 4 single cell cancer and if he is aggressive with the chemo and radiation he could have up to 2 years with his new baby boy, Ethan.

Unfortunately Ethan’s birth was over shadowed by the death sentence that they have given to my son. It’s been very difficult for me to come to terms with this news, but I have finally placed my son in God’s hands and I now know that what ever happens it will be his will along with the faith we all have in miracles and I will accept the outcome. He is going to the James Brown Cancer Institute in Louisville on Monday for a second opinion because he lost all trust in The Medical Center in Brownsville.

Oh I am SO INCREDIBLY SORRY to hear that news…I’m glad to know that you are able to put your trust in and rely on God to get you all through whatever may come. That will help you be strong for your son – and your new grandson. Your son, you and your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Please know that you and your son and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. I’m glad you have placed your trust in the one place it will truly do the most good. Doctors and medical science can only do so much.

So sorry the news wasn’t better but glad to know your faith is in God. Will continue to pray for your son–miracles do happen.

I recently went through almost the same predicament when I was being ruled out for cancer. Through God’s help and prayers, I was ruled out of it but am now facing another serious diagnosis, diabetes at 32.

I’ve included your family in my prayers. In these trying times, prayers and the moral support of family and friends will get you through all this.

Do not give up. Never give up. I just had lunch with a good friend whose husband is alive and well, his cancer in remission. He also was told there was no hope–but hope arrived anyway.

Your son and family are still in my prayers.
Like Patricia just commented, never, ever give up. Miracles do occur every day.

God bless you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have a little ‘award’ ~ to try to brighten your day if you want to stop by & pick it up when you get a moment.

My best to you and yours.
