What Time Is It?

Posted by: jude   in Mature Not Senile Misc

Time is something that we have so little of in this human existence and we worry so much about it. We are either trying to make or allocate time for something, finding ways to save time. Some of us feel like we are on borrowed time and some songs tell us that time is on our side, yes it is, remember that one? We even came up with day light saving time how ingenious.

I seem to be getting behind in all of my online activities. I never join in at forums anymore because I don’t have time for it and usually I have nothing to contribute even though I know that it’s a great way to get more visitors, but it does take up too much time that I need elsewhere and my time seems to be flying by like a whirlwind.

I really enjoy viewing most of the blogs I drop on through Entrecard and there are so many that I like to read so long as they hold my attention. I don’t always comment usually because I have nothing significant to say I know bloggers like to know that people are actually reading and would appreciate a comment, but surely they want more than hi I was here, nice blog.

I am guilty of not always replying to comments that are left for me, but I try just so the commenter knows that I really do appreciate the time they took to even bother to leave one and sometimes I will make a point to go to their blog and let them know that I appreciate it, but then again not always because of time constraints.

The time is now, but I haven’t figured out for what. Try to see how many times you say time in just one day, that’s always a fun exercise and will use up alot of useless time that you would probably waste anyhow. It’s time to get up, time to go to bed, time to eat, what time is it?, where did the time go?, time for work, time to play, it’s Howdy Doody time.

I was totally amazed how much time I found to say the word time, enough of my silliness, it is time for bed, Goodnight.

Came to you from EC. I am up late…1:29 AM and I read this post. I am thinking out of my head. I thought I would post you a comment for admitting to not replying.

You are very silly today. I’d like to type a longer comment here for you, but it’s TIME for me to go to work–boo!

Lol Karen I am always silly and I forgot to add to my list above, “I’ve had the time of my life” singing to myself Bill Medley’s song from Dirty Dancing.

Compared to people from other cultures, Americans are the most time-obsessed. Consider how everything we do must start EXACTLY on time and end on time and take no more nor no less time than it is supposed to take.

I love the honesty of your post. It’s hard trying to juggle all the demands that are placed on us. I don’t worry too much about people who don’t leave comments on my blog, The Artist’s Muse, as I treat it as a gift I give others. If they want to use it, that’s fine. If they want to dismiss it, that’s fine too. Comments are always a welcome treat—like having a cherry on the top of an ice cream sundae.

Hi S. Hart,
I am not an artist nor do I understand it, but sometimes certain pieces pull me. You have a lot of good information and if I were more knowledgeable I would consider leaving an intelligent comment of sorts or ask a few questions, just because I may not always comment doesn’t mean I don’t try to pick up good information, thanks so much for stopping by.

I wanted to take the time to thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog. I agree that even with the best of intentions, it is sometimes difficult to find some meaningful comment to leave to let the blogger know that you were there, read their post, enjoyed and maybe agreed or disagreed with what they had to say. I really believe in paying it forward to those whose posts I have come to appreciate. That is the reason, I wrote my post the other day, highlighting bloggers I have come to enjoy outside the blogging network where I do most of my writing. Thanks again for visiting, and I look forward to reading more of your posts.
