You will know when it is time for you to put Shadow down. And really, it isn’t as bad as watching the poor thing suffer. We owe it to our pets to give them dignity in death as we do in life. I love how you created the bed for Shadow–how sweet. He’ll (she’ll) let you know when she needs your help. I say a prayer for you all and that God takes your friend when the pain is too much to bear. I know all too well, as I had to put my 3 year old kitty down in October–it is painful, but you know you are doing right by him in the end.

Jude, what an awesome rolling bed for Shadow! I'm sure he is so much happier, it looks SO comfy and he can probably see what's going on better being raised up like that too.
