Really. My husband got a great new job (he's in insurance - work comp) in December and has better pay and benefits than before. He is downright giddy about how nice the new place is. He was just (I mean, minutes ago) emailed from another company that wanted to set up a phone interview with him--he was a prospect before he took this job. We went out to a little sandwich place near home tonight and there was a sign on the door for help wanted--3 positions--counter, cook, and delivery. In every bad situation there is opportunity. However, the key is to not let fear interfere with your thinking. You mentioned praying. The Bible says for us to fear not, and to have faith in God. So trust that God knows everything, He is in control, and He will provide. Then ask Him to give you some new ideas about how to make money and provide for your family during these new economic times. For sure, do not look to the government for your provision. It will fail you every single time. Now is the time to be innovative and to think outside the box.
