Plastic cards are taking over the world and we use them for everything. They now even make recyclable cards which more people are using because of going green and every little bit helps. Almost all companies now have their own cards printed up for various reasons including: motel key cards, phone cards, membership cards, business cards, photo id cards, and many more.

The plastic gift card has taken over and we receive quite a few during the holidays. Sometimes we buy them as gifts, but usually we just give money so they can spend it on whatever they want unless they specifically want something from a certain store and they’re afraid they’ll spend the money on something else, like Billy wanted one for Lowe’s so he could get his sheetrock.

At our Giant’s and Walmart they certainly make it easy for us to get them for most of the companies around our area. That saves time because we don’t have to run to the mall and stand in line or go to that specific store and they activate them at the checkout stand, very convenient for consumers. I wonder how much kick back they get for the cards they sell?

At least with the plastic you can carry it easily in your wallet and hopefully you’ll remember to use it unlike paper that gets torn up and stuffed somewhere and you forget about it till it expires or you throw it away by mistake like I’ve done before. The best plastic cards we have are not credit cards they are the bonus rewards card we get from the grocery store.
