I also don't deny that I have a couple of PPP posts on my site but I make sure to keep a balance with real posts and paid ones. You are right that we all blog and comment for different reasons. Normally, I'd like to be a silent reader but when I find the urge to comment on a certain blogpost, I do so. A friend of mine who introduced me to blogging told me that the rule when visiting people's sites is to leave a comment on their posts or shoutboxes. As for me, I really don't follow that religiously as I find it hard to comment on some sites. I just hope that we don't get pressured with having to leave a comment on blog sites we visit. Afterall, we have our own reasons on our actions. P.S. Sorry to hear about your loss. I have no idea. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to keep your focus. I really think you are doing a great job.
