Photos Of My Ethan Visit

I had a great visit with Ethan and DIL Chris is even going to bring him back next weekend so we can spend more time before she goes back to Kentucky. I’m hoping she will eventually move back to PA because without my Son there it will not be the same and there is no family there to help her and Ethan and Eric’s 2 best friends live an hour away if she ever needs help.

Sorry for all the photo’s, but I felt like sharing my Sons’ Son. It’s amazing how attached you can become in such a short span of time and I got in as many kisses as I possibly could. The other baby is Natalie and she was born 2 weeks after Ethan so they had a play date yesterday. Natalie is Bill’s new Granddaughter and as you can see he had both arms out to hug her, it was so cute.

Eric always called Ethan little E, but he didn’t want him to be an Eric Jr because he was afraid he might have his temperament and he didn’t want him to have that Eric wild streak or jinx him. Holding this baby was so much like having a piece of Eric back that it was so bittersweet and knowing I wont be able to see him when I want is so sad for me.

 Hopefully when she goes back to tie up loss ends she will realize she and Ethan need family around.

I am so glad you had this time. Hopefully your DIL WILL move nearer you so that you can watch Little E grow up. There just isn’t anything better than holding and loving our grandbabies.

Ethan is absolutely adorable. I’m so glad you had this time to spend with him. I also hope they move closer to you.

From one doting grandma to another, I never mind the pictures. Thanks for sharing. I’m so happy that you were able to spend this time with Ethan. I hope your DIL comes around and realizes things may be better for her in PA

Beautiful babies! I pray that your DIL does see just how important family is. My niece/God daughter was confirmed today. Her parents just recently divorced. Both were present… It made her day!

WTG Grandma, precious moments, pics are welcome. Glad it all worked out. Maybe DIL Will see the advantages of having GP’s near. GP’s are an important part of a GC’s life.

The pictures are great Jude. I can feel all the love.

I think it would be in your daughter in laws and Ethan’s best interest if they were closer to family too. It’s not easy raising a child on your own. Having loving family close by offers support and reinforcement.

I hope she feels that way too and will start plans to initiate the move soon.

What wonderful pictures, I LOVED seeing them all! I hope and pray your DIL decides to come back so you can be more a part of Ethan’s life, how wonderful to have that part of your son. That is really nice of your DIL to make sure to give you opportunities to visit with him and love him before she goest back. I’m glad for this happy day for you!
