Many people complain about the taste of green tea, but there are so many health benefits that I can overlook any bitter taste usually. I don’t like the cold drinks made from green tea, but I don’t mind the regular hot green tea and it’s not expensive and since it’s usually organically grown and not fermented like other teas more of the EGEC is found in it. The University of Geneva and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition did tests and determined that more weight loss was noticed among men that drank green tea daily and that it helped burn more calories.

Test have been done on the ECGC antioxidants also found in green tea and has been proven to help curb the growth of cancer cells within the body and can help prevent blood clots which can help prevent strokes and heart attacks along with raising your metabolism for weight loss. How about helping to relieve pain caused from rheumatoid arthritis and other infections. I think there are a lot of benefits that can be achieved just by adding green tea to your daily life of course there is also caffeine in it.

Black tea has the most caffeine, then green tea, then white, but they all have less than coffee and even if you get decaf it still has some caffeine. I have drank many different types of herbal teas over the years, but according to studies done none are more beneficial over all than green tea. You can do a search about green tea studies that have been done and decide for yourself if you might benefit from either capsules or the beverage. Personally I don’t see how it would hurt, but then I’m not a doctor or nutritionist, so if your not sure about something check with your doctor or health care provider.

There are so many blogs out there that teach us about nutrition and exercise at all ages and all levels and many say different things. I can’t keep up with all the different studies about vitamins and minerals and which is for what even though I try. I know many people that take diet supplements and weight loss pills and do special diets that go with them. I also know that before using any weight loss supplement you need to make sure you know all about them, do the research so you know what you’re putting in your body and then check with a professional.

Woolong (Oolong tea) tea also works as a slimming tea, along with bringing many other health benefits, like cancer prevention, anti-ageing, etc. Plus, Wulong tea doesn’t have the bitter taste of green tea!
