I’ve tried many things online to make extra money, but viewing e-mails for two cents each hasn’t been one of them until last week. I thought why not try it when I saw the above ad on someones blog. Since they were giving me 10 dollars to sign up and get me started in the right direction to the 25 dollar pay out. Don’t laugh too hard because you’re smarter than me.

I’m laughing at myself now because at the rate they are giving me e-mails to read I’ll probably be 90 years old before I reach that 25 dollar payout. Of course if I had hundreds of people sign up under me and they read e-mails I would get a penny more while they still get their two cents, but it’s hard to get sign ups so I don’t see this program lasting very long for me or anyone else.

I have never been good at marketing although I have tried many things over the years I’ve been online. I’m not good at selling, but I was always a sucker for buying until I got burned too many times. It now takes a stick of dynamite to make me part with my money, but I will try a program if it’s free and I can possibly make a few bucks, but I’d like to see those few bucks before I die.

I have come to the conclusion that people shouldn’t sign up for reading e-mails it’s just not worth the time or effort, not that it really takes either, you just don’t get enough e-mails to read to make it worth while. I’m sure someone will tell me that they have made good money doing this, but I don’t think I’ll believe them. I hope everyone that celebrates Easter will have a great one.

I once signed up the survey with NW airlines. They asked me if I was willing to take the surveys they or their partners sent. For each survey I did, I could earn 5 NW frequent miles to something ridiculous like 5000 miles. Well, I never earned the 5000, not even 250. It was always 5 sometimes even 0. Why 0? Because when I was on the 3rd question into the survey, the screen came up and read, “You are not the type of audience we are looking for in this survey. Thanks for your time.” How RUDE!!!

Usually those companies gives other monetary incentives to try out different programs. E.g. sign up for a newsletter, fill out a survey etc. It is definitely not the easiest way to earn money, but for someone who is in need, every bit might help.

Good to know! I am not easily convince to sign up for that stuff. Too strong willed ,I only read what I want. It seems whenever I would break down and enter something, I always end up paying more, lol. What a racket.

I’m on Hits4Pay, ClixSense, Wordlinx, WAOIndia (you earn .10 on each ad), HitzMagic (you earn .07 on each ad), Adverbux and Neobux. Come on over to my blog and sign up and we can both make money! :) Neobux has been around for a while and you get payouts at $2.00, so I’ve already taken a few of those. I wish I could get my daughter and her friends to sign up under me, then we’d all make more money faster. I also do the surveys, but those definitely take longer since they don’t seem to be looking for middle class white women from Ohio in most their demographics.

It’s tantamount to slave labour – I’m glad someone has the good sense to admit the truth – anything that pays 2 cents a time is practically insulting their audience.

I’ve tried the surveys and a few other things. Never made a cent from them, but they made big bucks from selling my email information. I was swamped with spam mail after signing up.

I’m not much of a marketer either and not interested in list building for email marketing purposes (isn’t that marginal spamming?)

Wishing you a beautiful Easter, Jude :)

Hello Jude,

you definitely saw it on my blog, too. Yes, it’s true. For reaching the payout you need referrals, not only some but many of them. At the moment i have earned around 60 cents since the last 4 months or so. Calculating this up to 25 $ means it would take around 100 months to reach it. But it all depends which interests you choose. Sometimes i get 3 ads at once, sometimes only one ad per week.
The good thing is you don’t have to watch/read the ad. Just click on it and wait until they credit the 2 cents to your account and then close the windows :-)

Happy Easter!

The only ones making money with all these schemes are the so-called gurus that tell you how to make money with these schemes.

They are affiliates to these programs, and do not spend time clicking on ads, reading emails, or filling out questionnaires, but from all idiots signing up together they make enough commission to get to a monthly payout.

Everyone tries to make money in that simple way up to a dollar perhaps. And then gives up because it takes forever. But if you can find 50 people who you can convince that this is how you made your money, and they all earn a dollar for you…..
