By the time Bill got home from work yesterday I was ready to pull my hair out because of all the down time with my blog and I know my blood pressure must have been sky high, not good for a Mature but not senile woman although he does think I’m senile at times. My head was busting even though I took some extra strength Tylenol it wouldn’t go away and I couldn’t make myself calm down.

I knew we were going up to put a down payment on the trike we’re going to pick up Saturday so maybe that contributed to my hypertension also. Bill practiced a bit in the parking lot so he could get use to turning the front wheel around turns instead of leaning trying to turn it like a Harley. I know he’ll get use to it in time, but we want to make sure we get it home all in one piece. They are going to change all the fluids and work on getting that wobble out.

I did calm down a bit, but around 10:30 I had a very weird blinding pain behind one eye and I thought I was having a stroke or something since they run in my family. I went to bed and didn’t get up til 6 this morning and thank God that blinding pain was gone and I hadn’t had a stroke. I would hate to be helpless and useless and have to have someone help me do everything. That’s actually my most dreaded fear and I try to keep it out of my mind because I certainly don’t want to attract it to me.

Okay I got all of that out of my system. The reason I am actually posting today is to give you a hand and foot bath recipe that we used in school and the salon I worked in. The footbath is for aching, tired feet for those that stand on their feet all day and jobs that require a lot of walking, also it would help runners and joggers. I know I always soaked my feet and nothing felt better than a good soak and a foot massage, now that was my idea of heaven.

Footbath For Tired Aching Feet:
3 Drops Rosemary

2 Drops Peppermint
1 Drop Lavender
Tepid-Cold Bath

For those that suffer with arthritis and cramping or just overuse like being on the computer all day then I would suggest the following hand bath to help ease the pain.

Arthritis Hand Bath:
2 Drops Juniper
1 Drop Lavender
1 Drop Cypress

1 Drop Rosemary
Warm-Tepid Bath
