<description>Try to relax and not worry. A friend of mine recently had surgery for the same thing and is fine. Whatever happens, enjoy the trike as much as you can for as long as you can.

<description>That does sound a bit frightening, that glaucoma stuff. It does sound like the prognosis is good though! Riding will take both of your minds off of it, so have fun!

<description>Enjoy the new trike this weekend, hopefully that will be the best diversion and allow Bill and you to both enjoy the weekend. I&#039;ll be praying for good news from the doctor for Bill.

<description>Tell Bill, I had eye surgery for a crushed eyeball, and I had NO Pain. could be that there&#039;s hardly any nerves in the eyeball itself.

also the recovery is quick and virtually painless as they give you drops which have an anesthetic in them.

the best part for Bill is that they caught it early, so there is no macular degeneration.

also remind him that stress puts pressure on nerves and also his blood vessels. the pressure of the stress can make the eye hurt and in fact I&#039;ve heard it hastens any problems.

Bill Bill Bill,, stop worrying, you&#039;ve got insurance and after the surgery, no more glasses and clear vision. the best ever.

just make sure to make the appt for his laser correction for his other eye at the same time, so he heals evenly and both eyes are resting at once. it works better that way.

since I know you want to know - I was kicked in the eye with the pointed toe of a cowboy boot in a robbery. I survived and lost only a minimum of vision. God is Great.
