It should relief the pressure. It is always good for the doctor to know a family member. For some reason it calms the patient and the surgery goes smoother. When I was in Surgery rotation I notice the different n the patient who had a better feeling about the doctor than those who did not. Recovering seemed faster also. Similar to having laser vision correction. David had that several years ago and has not had to wear glasses which he did since he was a teenager.
