Coming back from Florida, alone, I had a flat tire @ 3:00 AM...I can change a tire, but I was scared bc of the time. A motorcycle went by on other side of freeway, I saw him turn around and come back. I was terrified. This was before cell phones...I jumped in the car and locked the doors. He walked up fairly close to the front of car in my headlights so I could see him and said "Lady, I'm as scared as you are, but let me change your tire and we can both be on our way quickly and safely." I got out, helped him change the tire and we went our separate ways. I offered to pay him and he said "just pass the favor on to someone who needs it"...changed my whole view of bikers!
