I was  checking to see what people search for to find me and today the below search phrases landed people at my door. The only one that disturbed me was the last one, which I still can’t figure out or any keywords that would have landed them here.

July Cancer Freak Out Month

It just dawned on me that I went down to Kentucky in July last year to be with my Son when they diagnosed him. No wonder I was so weird this month and didn’t post very much and felt so down. I was there for Ethan David’s birth which is tomorrow August 1st and he’ll be 1. I keep looking for signs of my Son Eric in Ethan, but I mostly see Ethan’s Mother Chris. I saw a few, but not many when they came up in March. I’m hoping to see more when they come up the 10th of August. I need to see my Son in Ethan I miss him terribly. (edited)

That last one is a doosie. Funny though. I love the google search results. YOu just never know how the search engine will direct people. It’s strange. Some stuff makes sense, other times not so much.

Came over from Ratty’s site from the chipmunk search. :)

Nice to see ya Julia and thanks for stopping by. I’ve been getting some weird traffic searches from that new search engine, but at least it’s traffic. Have a great weekend

Those search keys words are hilarious. I think the last one would disturb me too.

I stopped by thanks to Ratty at Everyday Adventurer. Nice to meet you! I love the layout (and name) of your blog!

Looks change with age, perhaps as time continues you’ll see the signs you’re looking for. Maybe though the reminders won’t be in the form of looks, perhaps it will be mannerisms. I say that because my Mother and I didn’t look anything alike from our perspective. But, people often said we looked alike. As I older, she and I decided it was that our mannerism were similar and thats what people saw.

I keep enjoying looking at pictures and remembering things from that which helps. Perhaps it would you too.

I don’t understand any of your google searches, no glue why people would use those words to find you. How would I see what words land people at my door?

Help, I don’t get it.

Hi Jennifer so nice to meet you and I appreciate your visit, Ratty is pretty cool, but I don’t think I’ve told her that or really had a convo with her, but I love her blog and I’ll be over to check yours.

Sandy thanks for stopping by and the kind words of encouragement. I really need to see something of my Son in this baby boy regardless of looks or mannerisms, I would love to see anything.

I use Clicky and it shows me all the keywords and phrases that lead some one to my site, but Google analytics will do the same and also your webhosting will show you the same search phrases in your admin C-Panel..

Maybe you won’t see it now, but in time, you may see your son’s traits, actions, or mannerisms. Sometimes those things don’t show up until later on. But have faith and patience–you will see him in his son. How can you not?? He lives on in that sweet boy.

Love to you, Jude. I know you are having a tough time lately. It’s okay. Hugs.

I keep telling myself to look for strange search terms of my own, but I keep forgetting. They just look so fun.

I hope you’re right Lin and thanks for your kind words. Eric’s blood father said he saw nothing of his features, but did claim his intelligence and attitude as his own, imagine that. He didn’t raise him and only saw him 3 times, 2 months old, on his death bed, and at his funeral, I tend to think the intelligence and attitude was from me along with everything else. Thanks for stopping.

Some of the search terms that come up for certain blogs are hilarious. Mine’s most often found on searches for “dead fish”.
