New Blog Theme

I’m working on a new theme, but I’m not sure if it’s going to work or even if I like it as well as this one. I feel like I need a change and since we are Harley seniors I was looking for motorcycle headers and found the one I will be using, but maybe I will just use the header on this theme. I would appreciate any feedback. I have a wide monitor so it looks okay in my test blog, but I need to know if people have to scroll across to see the whole thing. I’m hoping the theme will be compatible with my widgets and I’m hoping everything doesn’t disappear so I guess I better back it up before I try it shortly. Thanks for any feedback in advance.

Update: Back to the drawing board the other theme didn’t work right, so I’ll try something else. I have been up all night and day trying to figure this stupid thing out. This theme is in 50 million pieces and it’s like a puzzle. I was always told if it “ain’t” broke then leave it alone, but I was never one to listen very well. I’ll get around to all you good peoples blogs sometime tonight, hopefully.

I would just change the header. I hate the thought of messing with my whole blog theme and risk losing stuff. It’s such a pain.

Love it, I too have a wide monitor, 22 inches, so I’m probably not able to help you with how it looks …scrolling wise etc.

The header suits ya. I’ve got several templates I’ve been playing with for some time, but haven’t yet decided on. It takes time, gotta save everything, go back and add all the widgets etc. Maybe after dropping, doing laundry, making a few calls, and a trip to the bank there will be some time…maybe not, need to make a few new posts as well. Then there’s the baby blanket I’m crocheting with a deadline fast approaching. Yikes.

I like it, it fits your interests and its nice to look at. The only thing I dislike on blogs is clutter. Yours is very easy on the eyes.

I miss you somewhere in the header. Right now, it looks like a biker blog–which isn’t really what you are. I think you need to soften the header up with something of you or something more personal. I can see the whole thing though, which I think is what you were asking! Sorry–gotta put my two cents in! :)

The theme I see right now looks fine to me. I understand looking to improve things though. Tinkering around until you’re satisfied is a good thing, and it’s fun too.

I like the new header. The only thing that I noticed is that the search box cuts right across the motorcycle, but other than that I like everything.
