Weeping Blue Atlas Gettysburg Square

Posted by: jude   in Mature Not Senile Misc

Bill and I often get lost and a few weeks back was no exception when we were riding through the Gettysburg countryside on the trike and entered the square from a different angle we turned down the wrong road and I was very happy we did because I spotted the monster Weeping Blue Atlas below and almost jumped off the trike, but I didn’t have my camera so last weekend we rode back up so I could get a photo for my Blue Atlas album. I love looking at all the unique shapes and I get so excited about all the ones I spot. Since I had my camera in hand while we were riding through the square I snapped a few other photos.

Hi Rochelle thanks for stopping by. Small towns are nice and Gettysburg is always busy with all of the quaint shops and people sitting out on the sidewalk eating and laughing and enjoying their vacation. Lots of things to see, we want to go to the new museum soon.

Looks like a beautiful day for a ride and some photo journalism! That tree reminds me of the trees in some of the Dr. Seuss stories! :-D

Those bots are bad maybe if there was some way to make the box longer or at least if it would scroll down that would fix the problem, but I don’t know how to do that.

I lived near Taneytown, Maryland for many years and took frequent trips to Gettysburg. I’m very familiar with that square.

What beautiful pics, I love that first one. I’ve never seen a tree like that before. At first I thought it had fallen from a storm. Thanks for sharing.
