Congrats on the ring. I love rubies too but even so I despise gifts much less anything surprising. Never really was comfortable getting them *shrugs*

Oh that ring is BEAUTIFUL! You are very lucky to have such a sweet man, but he sure is lucky to have you too and it looks like he knows it – smart man! :-) My DH never surprises me, so I never have to be suspicious. But, he will pretty much buy me whatever I ask for, so I can’t really complain. :-)
