I get so use to seeing things that I don’t see them any more especially if I live around them and see them all the time, but when I go somewhere else then things tend to pop out more. Recently I started paying more attention to signs and emblems or objects that companies use to set their businesses apart and identify with them.
Below are 3 such places around our area and I’m sure you guys have many unique businesses that do the same. We’re all familiar with the Golden Arches of McDonald’s or Shoney’s Big Boy and I know there’s many others, thanks for stopping and sharing.
San Carlos “The Hop”

That old car sits on top of the patio-deck bar built onto San Carlos which is like an old barn, it’s a restaurant and nightclub. We use to refer to it as the “meat market” because the clientele sat around drinking and it was like they were all waiting to pounce on fresh meat that walked through the door.
A group of us would go over after work on the weekends to dance and it was kind of creepy, the decor is 50′s and 60′s and cool though. They use to have like half a car that looked like it was protruding from the building until they built on. The only time we stop by there any more is when they have motorcycle events.
That Fish Place

Above is the pet store we like to frequent and it’s really neat, they have everything. I love that place they have a really great fish aquarium and pond and it’s fun to check out the reptiles and all the pet goodies they stock.
York Barbell

That big guy up there is huge and revolves above the York Barbell business. You can see him right off I-83, I remember years ago when they were located in the city of York my girlfriends and I use to hang around outside and ogle all those muscle guys wow what fun, didn’t take much to make us happy way back then. Have a great weekend.
