		<description>These are great tips.  I used to be involved in hiring, and I was surprised at all the bizarre things people would put on applications.

Actually, the funniest ones that I used to get were from students at the Ivy League College near us who suddenly wanted to work to earn money for something that their parents wouldn&#039;t buy them (even though they had never worked before.)  Under work experience they would list something like &quot;spent a semester in Paris where I experienced the French culture and attended classes&quot;  Awesome if I was hiring in the international department, but very funny and irrelevant when they were applying as part timers in shipping and receiving!</description>
