I have come to a point in my life where I really appreciate my few close friends, but find that quite enough and am not looking to expand my social network. Of course, I'm a woman, which means that I love to chat with others and share some ideas and lessons learned in life. sometimes it is great to exchange personal opinions and happenings with virtual strangers. Mostly because I know that they would not lie awake at night over my troubles. And there are always things that are hard to share with close friends or family members, but are worth discussing. I think that that is a nice thing about online "friends". But like you said, I won't tell them who I am or where I live/work. It is not relevant to that type of relationship, I think. It sounds like me. I have come to a point in my life where I really appreciate my few close friends, but find that quite enough and am not looking to expand my social network.

Zit got so out of hand. Everyone was promoting something and then it just got to weird. so I blocked a lot of them and only have a few now. I joined Twitter and had a hard time figuring that one out. there was little to no feed back. Another one I join just had no activity.
