Do You Believe In Psychic Energy?

Posted by: jude   in Mature Not Senile Misc

How many people believe in psychic energy and the law of attraction or positive thinking? The premise of course is that we are capable of determining what we have and how we live. Some people have spent their lives trying to figure out the secret and how to use the power of the mind. I certainly believe in affirmation and visualization because I know it works.

Many people believe in the law of attraction and of course there are many courses out there to help us obtain our wants and desires. They say that Einstein only used a 10th of his brain power and that the rest of us use around 6% can you imagine what we could accomplish if we knew how to harness the power of the mind?

Does the world we live in effect us or is it the opposite way around, do we effect the world around us? We know that if we concentrate hard enough and think positive thoughts that we can indeed reach our goals and desires, but of course they aren’t just going to appear out of thin air we have to actively do something to make it happen.

Do your actions make you think or are your actions caused by your thoughts? Are you in control of your fate? Most people think before they act, but not all, some are very impulsive and take action before they have thought about what the consequences might be for that action. I certainly believe in positive thought and that the results of our actions are determined by our thoughts.

Whether they’re conscious or not, our thoughts do determine what and who we are. I have always heard that if you can think it then you can achieve it and If our thoughts cause us to act and not the other way around then that action results in helping us to obtain our goal and not some disastrous result that we hadn’t even considered by acting first and then thinking.

Okay I’m giving myself a headache from thinking and I’m starting to confuse even me so I’ll leave this post at this point for the time being and thank Ann of Snap Edit Scrap for passing the following award to me. Update: I am now adding Cute As A Buggy today November 10th because she gave me the same award and I’m grateful to both bloggers for the honor.

i totally believe that our thoughts are very powerful in achieving our goals. everything is manifested with the first thing you do, thinking about it. seeing yourself accomplishing your goals and the steps needed to get there, will get you there. although sometimes it doesn’t happen in the time frame that you would like. i still believe that everything happens for a reason, whether we know or understand that reason or not.

have a wonderful day my friend…hugz!

Oh yes. I believe we can, and do effect our lives with our thoughts. I have known many people who are always unwell. All they talk about is being unwell. They surround themselves with thoughts of being ill, and therefore are always ill!
Alternatively I have known people who are so confident that they will achieve something and aim towards that goal. They achieve it! I too have been a success at something when I believed whole-heartedly that it would succeed, and failed when I doubted things also.

Hi Jude,

I found you at Without Dash. Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I’m Kellie from Women’s Life Link. I love your post on psychic energy. I am really focused on attracting more of it in my life right now.
I was happy to find another blog with similar ideas about metaphysical topics. I will be back.

Psychic energy? Not sure, I think it certainly is a possibility. Surely positive thoughts can beget positive results.

Congrats on the award!

If more people would grasp the concept of positive thinking and manifesting our desires wouldn’t it be amazing what we could do?!

I think we affect the world around us while we are affected by it as well. I know that when you are negative and pessimistic, you bring that to yourself as well. What is the saying…”you cannot control what happens to you, only how you react to what happens to you.” I have been trying to be more positive in my life and sometimes it’s really hard, but it’s worth it.

I do agree to a point. When I’m in a positive thinking mood I’m happy as can be but negative thoughts change my mood, personality and actions. However, there are limitations to what positive thinking can get me. Or is that just the negative side of me holding me back? Hmmm I wonder :)

You are most welcome for the award. Love my daily stops here.

I definitely think that our thoughts affect our lives and the people around us and that positive energy does just seem to flow out of people who are positive. Of course there are many aspects of life that are outside of our control like people who are struck down with illnesses or have tragedies that occur in their families. I guess it comes down to changing when we can change and accepting what we can’t change with the most positive attitude that we can muster.
