Oysters are great, but I have never been able to figure out which months are safe harvest months. I always heard you should not eat oysters in months without an ‘r’ in the name. But today, don’t they have controlled harvest beds and oysters are safe year round? Would love to know that once and for all.

I know a lot of people like oysters, but I’m still afraid to try them. I have never really seen an oyster up close to really know. I did have a similar experience, but with tacos. When I was a kid I refused to eat tacos, but when my mom finally convinced me to try a small part of one I was hooked. That was my first taste of Mexican food, and now I can’t get enough.

Oh, I love raw oysters! I sure hope I’m not in any danger though. Then again, it’s not like I eat them every day although I would like to. :0)

No, not my thing. *shiver* Though if someone dared me…..I like my fish cooked thoroughly thank you. I had no idea of the dangers od eating oysters raw though, wow.

I love oysters. I don’t like them cooked though, so it is the raw ones for me!
