BK they will only deduct if you have money in your account and didn’t reach 5 different sales with 5 different credit card numbers and it isn’t active. If you have the account I would advise you to read all of their policy changes. Since a few of my sales were paypal it didn’t matter because that doesn’t count toward their CDR and I couldn’t withdraw my 49 dollars it simply started dwindling away now the account is empty so they stopped deducting.

I had no idea that Click Bank worked this way (shame on me.) I promoted a limited time item and haven’t used them since. I don’t like to think that I would have been paying money to them if I hadn’t cashed out. Thanks for the warning.

I have a ClickBank account but I have not been using it for a long long time. Does that mean that my account is dormant and that ClickBank will be deducting a dollar from my account every 2 weeks? If that is the case, then I will be owing them big money.

We never made a sale through ClickBank! Not from choice LOL but it just never happened. I think most bloggers are not buyers and the buyers don’t read blogs. Who knows? Even Adsense adds up sooooo slowly, and in $AU, we have to get $150 before they will pay (it’s only $US 50).

I never really did too much with clickbank. It looked to shady to me. I know what you are saying about moving adds. I used to do banners and stuff through cj but that got old with the coming and going. I have to update my sites every three or four months since I mostly used share a sale for affiliates. The offer data files that you can download. So much easier!

I was actually thinking about this the other day. I have little bits of money in so many accounts….not enough for payout in the individual areas. Many I will dump because they aren’t worthwhile. These companies make out pretty well because I’m sure that happens every day.

I don’t use Clickbank but this sounds much like what some credit card companies are now doing to customers who don’t use their credit cards enough–charging them fees for inactivity. It’s disgusting.

I think I’m glad that I don’t try and sell anything online, it sounds like such a hassle. The clcik bank thing sounds like just another example of how the big companies rip off the little guy
