I LOVE the hustle and bustle, the shopping, wrapping, the cooking, and decorating, I mean, it's once a year! And yes I work too; I own my own business. I am sorry it is so hard for you. I am the mom of four and a new grandma, and our family has many get togethers at this time of year. It's fun and we all look forward to it. Why is it so stressful? That is great that you have the presents already bought for the kids. We do the same with our artificial tree and we put it in the basement to store. It is already put together and that is one less thing to do for the next Christmas. This time of year can be very stressful. I always dread paying the taxes. We will go to my parents house on Christmas Eve. We go to his parents on Christmas day. It's the only way to keep the meaning of the season in perspective. This past weekend I took my boys to Toys r Us to buy our angel tree gifts for the needy, and it was amazing. Two boy in a toy store who picked out gifts for others and didn't ask for anything for themselves, I think it will be the highlight of my Christmas this year. And you know what? That's OK. No stress of having to clean or cook for company, no packing everyone up to go to someone else's house. I think it will be a lovely Christmas.
