I was accused of GhostDropping and thought of dropping Entrecard. You are my #300 for the day and I might just not drop for a few days until the air clears… we’ll see… I may still drop and support my favorite blogs (after all, I’ll still be visiting, so why not drop while I’m on site?) What was bad about the accuser is that he never asked the individuals or EC if what they did was true. He just went and posted what he thought was the situation, named names, and pointed fingers. THAT was wrong. I don’t care if someone is ghost dropping–whatever. There are bigger probs with EC that Martin should be looking into. I don’t really care all that much, but I would be mad if I was the accused.

Blogging is a tough grind, isn’t it?? I can’t seem to find a thing to write about lately. Even Hobbes is boring.

I never got an email from EC but I did read about the ghost dropper thing. One of my favorite bloggers was one that was accused and has left EC. I think it’s rediculous myself and think the way it was handled by one person in particular was way overboard.

What is all this “ghost drop” stuff anyway? Maybe I’m on the list because I got dropped from EC yesterday and it took my entire day to convince them to reinstate me. Still don’t know what I did wrong. I just use EC to visit my favorite blogs (like yours)–so sue me!

I saw Corneyman’s post too but only because one of my blogging buddies told me about it. I didn’t put much stock in what he said because I know for a fact that some on his accused list comment on my blog regularly. I too posted about this today.

Well apparently I’m late to the party…I read a post by someone that was on Cornyman’s “hit list” just today (guess I missed the earlier email ) Not quite clear on the ghost issue, but I can say I’m a bit weary of constantly tripping over some mighty cheesy blogs (they’re everywhere – yeesh).

One of my blogs was also on Cornyman’s hit list. This guy only wants attention at the expense of other bloggers. I’m also thinking of leaving EC because of this bs.

Wow, I guess the drama hasn’t let up since I left EC. I have no idea what ghost dropping is, but I’m surprised EC would drop people for this when they didn’t drop the ones who were behind the trojans that were being spread to EC users (that was the final straw for me.) I would love a blogging network that would manually approve blogs and follow up to make sure they update and don’t turn into ad farms. A network like that could do exceptionally well, I’d certainly join.

i am so glad that i don’t have to think about entrecard any longer. i enjoy my blogging time so much better now.

we are getting way more snow here than usual, but in a couple months it will all be gone and the flowers will start blooming again.

I read about the ghost droppers, not sure I understand it. but I sure i’m not one of them. I visit every blog i drop on. hope they get it figure out. I never saw the list, too busy digging out of all the snow. anyway hope you all get well.
