Sub-par Stupid PayPal Phishing E-mail

I just about cracked up when I received the phishing e-mail from PayPal below in my regular mail and not my spam. I get PayPal phishing e-mails all the time, but they seldom end up in my inbox. This person must be very new at this because they didn’t even change this “xezdcg@webssl.com” to look like a PayPal address and if these people actually think I would download an attachment and fill it out with all of my credit card info and send it to them then they must really be a sub-par crook. I really cracked up when I read this part at the very end: “ Note: Your Card Number and ATM PIN are being used for authentication purposes.”

Whenever you received this type of emal just ignore it. One thing is certain that if it was from PayPay they always address it by your full name.

Let’s be vigilant with scammers on the net! Have a nice days ahead!:=)

Hi Jude,
I have not received that one before, but I have got the one asking me for my PayPal login information. Shame on these people for trying to steal money. I really hope people don’t give them their Credit/Debit Card and personal bank information.

Hi Jude,

I’ve also gotten those emails. When I came here Norton actually blocked it saying that it was unsafe. I’m assuming because of the fields you have there to enter info.

I hope you had an easier time with filling out one of those forms than I did. For I have filled out several, and none of them seemed to help a bit. Of course, my PayPal account never appeared to have ever been locked in the first-place. So, I don’t know what the problem was.

I get these all the time too and just delete them. Once I did report it to PayPal asking if it actually came from them and of course, it didn’t. I hate that scammers are so rampant and have nothing better to do than try stealing from innocent people and cluttering up our email.
