Point and shoot cameras are suppose to be simple to use, that’s why I use them because I don’t know anything about cameras period. The first digital point and shoot camera I owned was a Sony and it was a 3.2 MP, which worked great till this year and I should have stuck with that brand or a Cannon instead of the Kodak I settled for. Bill thinks the photos look okay, but I think they suck.
I was under the impression that the more pixels like this one at 12.2 meant the pictures would be clearer, but that’s certainly not so and I was reading an article at The Consumerist which explained and I followed a link from there to Petavoxel that showed a sample and more explanations for me and they say that anything over a 7 is very unnecessary. I found a lot of good info on that site so I’ll have to read more so I’ll at least know what I should get the next time.
When we took our ride on the trike to Gettysburg the other day I took some point and shoot photos with my Kodak so I’m going to share part of our ride with you, hope you enjoy my crappy photos, but you will still get a sense of what a great little town it is with lots of cool shops to poke around in. If you want a larger view you have to click on the thumbnail and when that one loads click again for the largest view. I’m only going to post a few at a time so I’ll add more tomorrow.
