Summer Burn Out

Posted by: jude   in Senior Health

Bill just got out of the hospital with a bad bout of  Diverticulitis and we’ve been dealing with that and a few life changes. He has to make a few decisions about having an operation now. Thankfully they can do it laproscopically instead of cutting you open so that’s something we will have to contend with in the next couple months. Just thought I’d add this encase anyone is curious or worried.

It’s been almost a month since I’ve added anything here. I can’t say I’m sorry because I’m not and I really haven’t been interested lately in adding anything to keep updated on my blog. So much happens in our lives and things constantly change, not always for the best. Not saying anything is wrong I guess a Summer burn-out or melt down after the past couple years.

I’ll be back when it gets cooler and things calm down.

Sorry to hear your husband was in the hospital but hope things are better now. I know what you mean about losing interest in blogging. I’ve had some days like that too–not too many though. I still enjoy it. Just been having some problem with coming up with good things to post about.

Hi Jude,
I hope your Bill will be alright. That is good they can do laproscopically. Enjoy your summer and I have been thinking about you. :) Robin

Hope Bill will be doing better soon. Thank God for Lap-Scope surgery. I think that is the best things that has happened in the Medical world.
I really do miss your presences in the Bloggerworld. Looking forward to your return. Until then… take lots of Photos, we will want to see the little one growing up. Getting ready to head your direction next month. It’s Renaissance time.

Very sorry to read about your husband Bill and hope he’s feeling better… I hoped to ask if there might please be an email so I could make you aware of something Nintendo’s doing with seniors, but understand completely if this is not the right time…

Sorry to write in this way, I didn’t see another way to contact you all… I’m at rhwheat@gmail.com / 913.642.5767 (KC) and hope things are better on your end…

Take care and thanks

I do check back often, wondered where you were and how you were. Sorry you don’t feel like blogging, I do miss your posts and your visits.

Sorry to hear about the divertic. I have episodes myself, but have never needed to be hospitalized. I have a less severe situation; but know what you’re poor hubby is dealing with.

Not sure what the pending surgery is, but hope it goes well for him.

Hugs to you and yours
Sandy

I sure do hope that everything has calmed down for you, and that Bill is doing well now. Medical situations are always stressful.

It is very nice reading your blog. You have a nice writing style. It is always nice to hear about another ex-smoker. Quitting smoking is the hardest thing to do, and an experience that no one understnads unless they have gone through it.

Anyway, just wanted to say that I appreciate your blog, and wish you well. Thank you.
