Vaping Is One Habit I Don’t Want To Break

Posted by: jude   in Senior Health

I haven’t posted for awhile, I’ve been quite busy. I have no clue what’s going on with all the nice people I’ve met online so I shall make a point of visiting the blogs I have always enjoyed tomorrow and catch up with their lives and what’s been going on with them.

I’m doing great since I started vaping and stopped burning tobacco products. It’s been 2 weeks now since I lit a cigarette and I can actually breath and my nose isn’t stopped up all the time. I can actually taste what I’m eating now since my taste buds have returned.

When I first started this vaping I started with a low mg, but when I went to a higher dose all the urges I had to go out and smoke disappeared. I thought I only wanted the tobacco tasting products, but soon got tired of the taste and ordered some different flavors which I quite enjoy.

I like this new habit and even if I decide to stop the nicotine I will continue to vape because I totally enjoy it. If I get the munchies all I have to do is find a flavor and vape away the craving to eat something sweet. For me this has been a great experience. I have read and researched this a lot recently.

I think I mentioned before that I was diagnosed with clinical depression many years ago and took several different types of antidepressants which only made me worse and actually put me in rages. My doctor then decided she was going the wrong way with me.

She found that I was unipolar which basically means in my case that I was always on a downer and didn’t have any normal ups so she tried me on Neurontin and it was a miracle drug in my case and it worked immediately. It brought me up to a middle ground and I was able to function almost like a normal person for years.

Somehow it triggered the serotonin in my brain which was rather low not like a regular person and made me feel differently, it worked as a mood stabilizer for me. She told me I would need to take this for the rest of my life. Since I was going through a clinic I was able to get this supply free from the company.

I took it for quite a few years then I met Bill and we fell in Love and I decided I didn’t need it any more and gradually weaned myself off. Well, guess what I did still need it and got gradually steadily down again and then when I lost my Son and the passing of my furry Son Shadow I started drinking pretty heavy.

I wont go into all those details, but needless to say alcohol is not good for someone that is always down anyhow, but I was self medicating the pain away. At any rate when I started vaping the 36mg I found that it was turning a switch in my head and it had the same effect as the Neurontin had on me. I was dumbfounded.

I actually started to feel normal like the effect that drug had on me so I started researching this more. The nicotine I was vaping was actually helping me and stimulating the neurons in my head. For more reading http://health.howstuffworks.com/nicotine4.htm.

I partially got that from tobacco, but nothing like the effect just vaping the nicotine had and I got even more excited when the craving for alcohol flew right out the window. I haven’t smoked an analog since the 19th and that was also the last night I took a drink and I actually feel like a real person feels.

I have read much about this new miracle I have found and have also read many accounts where it hasn’t helped everyone that tries them cut out the tobacco cigarettes because of other additives in analogs like MAOI’s or Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor’s which is missing with just vaping nicotine.

With vaping I am receiving only 1/10 the nicotine of an analog, but it’s very satisfying for me. For most of my life I have taken pills for headaches and other aches and pains, but I also stopped taking those. Even though I still wake up with headaches I now vape them away and get to feel happy at the same time.

I haven’t felt this good in a long time not only physically, but mentally so I seriously doubt I will ever give up this vaping habit. No one is suffering from my second hand vaping because there are no burning carcinogenics being released into the air and I smell great now. This is one habit I will hang on to gratefully.

Totally Wicked Titan 510 Nicotine Inhalator

They say the Tornado’s battery last longer, I find the 510 batteries need to be recharged every couple hours, but I’m really glad I started with this kit and it was cheaper, but if I had known more about them in the beginning I would have gotten the Tornado. With the PCC case this is the one I use when we’re riding the bike or go out. You don’t smoke them like a cigarette it’s a totally different pull, but I’ve gotten use to it and do not ever plan on smoking again.

Below are some photo’s of my pass-through (I wanted black, but they were out of stock) which connects to any usb port  and I can’t believe how much better I feel without all that tar and other carcinogenics polluting my body. Of course being able to get my daily  nicotine fix and still being able to mimic my smoking habit with blowing out vapor has gone a long way in my giving up tobacco. I’m even going to get some cards printed up encase anyone asks me about them while I’m out.

So far I have only used the tobacco flavored nicotine flavors and the flavorless one which I really like. I don’t know if I will like the sweeter flavors, but further down the road I might sample a few if I do they will be the smaller bottles. When I decide the flavor I like best I’ll get the bigger bottle. I know I never would have laid my tobacco cigs down if I hadn’t discovered the world of vaping, I love it and I’m hooked. Yes I know my dependency is showing, but I don’t care, I’m happy and healthier.

I ordered the PCC- the charging kit that will keep my battery going when I’m out and about. I didn’t buy the full PCC kit because I had already gotten the starter kit, but I did buy extra batteries and atomizers and I don’t need extra carts yet, those are the ones  that you add the liquid nicotine to so you can vape. For me this device has helped me stop polluting with tobacco and it gives me the same satisfied feeling and I feel better. By the way that is supposed to be a joker and not a devil.

Tobacco Free Since April 19th

Posted by: jude   in Senior Health

Tobacco free since April 19th and loving it especially since I got my Totally Wicked 36 mg e-juice today. I’ve been smoking for 45 years and just couldn’t give them up. The higher nicotine vaping intake really got rid of any urges I had in the beginning to go outside and smoke. This is so great for me and it’s so cool to just pick it up and not worry about tobacco burning or catching anything on fire.

I went back and ordered all kinds of goodies tonight and with their fast service I should have them all by Friday or Saturday. I suddenly feel like Santa is real again. I was really getting so sick of smoking, but just couldn’t stop.  I will take pictures of all my goodies when the rest gets here at the end of the week. I’ve been doing a lot of reading and watching video’s lately to learn all I can about taking care of my TW 510 Titan system.

I even applied to be a partner with them because I like this product so much, but I haven’t heard back from them yet. Well, I only applied a couple hours ago and it’s cool they give you 2 options you can make 15% or make 7.5% and give your referral 7.5% off their order and that’s the option I will take if I’m accepted. Why not share and help out other people especially when they are great products. The packaging is great also,

Just felt like sharing my excitement with anyone that cares to read, my lungs and I are  loving this.

The older I get the more aches and pains I feel and lately I’ve noticed I groan and moan alot and when Bill asks me where I hurt,  all I can answer is everywhere. I have no clue where one pain starts or ends. I almost feel like a hypochondriac thinking I probably have everything in the medical book because so many of my symptoms sound like everything I read.

I took one of those quizzes and now I really feel bad because I scored higher than I thought I would, bummer. Of course it’s a silly quiz and really doesn’t mean diddly squat. Whoever made it up didn’t even word their sentences correctly before the quiz so it was more of a fun thing for me.

You Are 64% Hypochondriac

You are a bit of a hypochondriac, but nothing too extreme (yet).
You watch your health a little more than you should – even when there’s nothing to worry about.

Are You a Hypochondriac?

I do have a tendency to self diagnose though and after hearing the commercial on television about fibromyalgia I thought wow that could cover lots of my symtoms so I’ve been investigating this further. The following symptoms listed are from www.fibromyalgia-symptoms.org:

Widespread Pain, Morning Stiffness, Fatigue, Vision Problems, Nausea,  Sleep Disorders, Urinary and Pelvic Problems,  Weight Gain, Dizziness,  Chronic Headaches,  Cold Symptoms, Temperomandibular Joint Dysfunction Syndrome,  Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndromes , “Fibrofog”: Cognitive or Memory Impairment, Skin Complaints,  Chest Symptoms,  Anxiety,  Depression,  Dysmenorrhea,  Aggravating Factors, Myofascial Pain Syndrome,  Muscle Twitches and Weakness,  Memory Loss: Is it Real?, Weather Changes, The Menstrual Cycle,  Troubles Breathing?

At least now instead of feeling like a hypochondriac, after reading more about fibromyalgia I will have something they can actually check for and I wont feel bad about telling the doctor about all the symptoms I have. Of course I don’t have every one listed above, but I do have many and the good news is this is not some dreaded disease that will kill me.
