Sharing My Life By Blogging

Posted by: jude   in Harley Seniors

Everyone has varied interests and a majority of the visitors here are younger women with children so when I visit their blogs I read about their children and their day to day live’s which I really enjoy. It’s nice to read about their problem solving and the activities that interest them. Others are older like myself and have already raised their families and blog about their grandchildren and their fears of aging and how they handle the problems they now face.

I enjoy reading about other people’s lives and I appreciate all the bloggers that so willingly share their emotions and life with the rest of us. We all blog for various reasons and for me it’s because it’s a great release to put my feelings down. I never really kept a journal or diary on a regular basis, but I had a calendar book that I would make small entries in and I love going back and rereading them and I do the same with this blog, it sometimes helps me.

I like sharing my life even if no one reads it, but me. It’s there for my family and friends if they want to know what’s going on with me and my state of mind at any given time. The activities in our life usually revolve around the weekends and we love to ride down to the river and watch the water and boats, it’s very relaxing. Children and families are all over the place fishing and having picnics, simply enjoying life and the surroundings, it’s a great way to unwind and appreciate nature and life.

As you know our lifestyle involves motorcycles and weekends are our time. We spend a lot of it going to swap meets and activities that involve motorcycle events. We’re always looking for something for the bike. It’s hard to find accessories for the trike and we wanted a bumper for it and one guy that builds the Champion trikes wanted 800 dollars for one because he fabricates them as needed, we decided we didn’t need one that bad.

Bill’s son is a welder and he decided he would make one for him so he took the dimensions needed and made us a small one which looks great and will look even better when we get it chromed. It didn’t need to be fancy and we are quite pleased with the way it turned out. I think we found a place around here that will chrome it so we don’t have to send it off and wait 6 weeks. Gettysburg bike week is coming up and I’d like to get feathers painted on the two back bumpers or small dream catchers.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing a part of my life.
