We’re all about green technology so it’s funny I had never heard of the company called N-Viro until yesterday when I decided to write this post for Bloggerwave. I’m sure everyone has heard the terms alternative energy and  renewable energy because everyone is looking for new sources for power because it seems we are depleting all of our current ones.

They use Opportunity Fuels which come from these 3 categories: Biomass, Industrial Byproducts, and Commercial/Industrial Waste which are resources that often are wasted but can be recovered and used to generate usable energy. Their ultimate goal is to create N-Viro Fuel, a renewable alternative fuel perfectly synergistic with the coal combustion industry.

Clean coal technology seeks to reduce harsh environmental effects by using multiple technologies to clean coal and contain its emissions and many tests are being performed by this company as far as I know they have a plant in Toledo and Florida in the states.

I’m sure there may be many others out there that haven’t heard of them either even though they’ve been around since 1993 helping to turn waste to energy. This company uses patented technologies to stabilize and disinfect municipal bio solids and other organic waste products. For more about this green technology you can visit  http://www.nviro.com.

You will find this on their about page:

N-Viro International Corporation develops and licenses its technology to municipalities and private companies. Their patented processes use lime and/or mineral-rich, combustion byproducts to treat, pasteurize, immobilize and convert waste water sludge and other bio-organic wastes into biomineral agricultural and soil-enrichment products with real market value. The company has generated sales in excess of $40 million dollars, since its initial public offering in October of 1993, which was underwritten by Robertson Stephens, Raymond James, Oppenheimer & Co., and Paine Webber.
